Shot on a family vacation in Italy, Davida Nemeroff’s images are developed using an analogue printing process that allows her to play with the material qualities of her photographs.
ABOUT DAVIDA NEMEROFF
Born 1981 in Montreal
Lives and works in Los Angeles
Davida Nemeroff received her BFA from Ryerson University and her MFA from Columbia University. Nemeroff founded Night Gallery in 2010 and partnered with Mieke Marple in 2011. She also sits on the advisory board of the New Art Dealers Alliance and she is co-chair and co-founder of Sexy Beast, a biannual benefit for Planned Parenthood Los Angeles. With Jonathan Horowitz, she won an Atlantic Center for the Arts Award in 2010. She presented a solo exhibition at Gallery TPW in 2011.
